Members and friends
We have come into the new year and I am looking for input as to meetings and the clubs events and future.
I am going to put it to the membership for meetings. My feelings are that Thursdays work best for me for meetings at this point with my current assignment.
If others have issues or other days work better for them, please let me know and I will try to make meetings better for the majority of the membership. Otherwise I will be setting them for Thursdays each month.
I am also asking that if you become aware of any rides that are slated for the 2011 riding season and you have an application you can email, then pelase email me it at makaye1@verizon.net and I will put it in the "Our Rides" section so others can see the ride and attend if they wish. If you can just get a paper copy, then bring it to a meeting and I will scan it and place it on the site. The members have my address or if you need it I will give it to you and you can mail it if you aren't going to be able to attend the meeting.
as your Secretary, any good news, bad news, sick call or other information you would like to share with the membership, pelase send it to me in an email and I will be sure to pass it on to the membership.
I will also be taking some pictures of the lodge to put on the site to show where we have our meetings and possibly attract new members. If anyone has any pictures from rides or events you attended with your colors send them to me and I can post them in the gallery as well.
I am going to try to be more active with this web site as well and get information out to the membership through teh news letters and emails for members only information.
If you know a member that is not subscribed to the newsletter, let me know and I can add them or have them go to the site and subscribe themself.
I would like to see the club grow and become more active in the community and for the members this year and will be looking to the membership to assit with this.
If we all put more effort than we already do, i can see the club become better and more productive.
